Maelani -

Hello, my name is Maelani and I have been living in Grants Pass for over two decades. It was love at first sight, and truly has been the longest I have lived anywhere. When I am not working, I enjoy hiking on our beautiful mountain trails with my white German Shepherd Yuki, or lap swimming at the YMCA. Water is my “Happy Place”. I also plan to participate in a mini triathlon next year. I spend a good amount of time in the kitchen preparing a variety of healthy foods from multiple cuisines. Also, I'm Hawaiian and was taught how to dance Hula, but I haven't done Hula in years! I also enjoy volunteer work. One of my current projects is helping over 134 senior citizens through an acquisition process to purchase and establish an affordable housing community. I have a seat on the Board of Directors as the Operation Manager. My fellow officers and I are hoping to create a legacy for senior citizens long after we are gone. I am passionate about serving others wherever and whenever I can be of assistance, and look forward to being there for you too!
